Jim W. Houston joined Robertson, Eadie & Associates in January 2016. Previously, Jim was the President of Foyston, Gordon and Payne Inc., an institutional investment management firm. As the firm’s Ultimate Designated Person and Board member, he was responsible for strategic direction, risk management, compliance, budgets, investments and personnel. He has over 25 years of financial services experience and has held several positions with investment management, insurance and banking firms.

Jim is a charterholder with the CFA Institute and also a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. He is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario. In 2015, Jim joined the Board of Directors of the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario and he is a member of the Audit and Finance Committee as well as the Governance and Human Resources Committee. Jim is a recent graduate of the Chartered Director’s program through the McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business.
